John Parrott 1991 Snooker World Champion supported the charity fundraiser evening at the Aughton Institute in West Lancashire, to raise funds for the Claire-House Children's Hospice on Friday 13th January 2012
The event was organised by Aughton Institute club steward Martin O'Looney and Ormskirk Snooker League Administrator Barry Adlington and compered by Dune FM stars Dave "The Mighty" Quinn and Trevor Ford.

It was a great night. I don't often go to clubs like Aughton Institute, but I was happily surprised how busy and thriving the club looked.
ReplyDeleteJohn Parrot was a good turn and provided value for money to the many club members and guests who had bought tickets for the fundraiser evening.
When economic times are hard, it was great to see people enjoying themselves and helping others at the same time.
