The Aughton Committee of the North West Cancer Research Fund held a successful fundraising coffee morning on Wednesday 21st March 2012.

The event was well supported and held at the Town Green W.I Hut. The coffee morning raised money to support research into a cure for Cancer. The total from various sales stalls, a prize raffle and a £1.50 entry came to a not insignificant amount of £540.22
A well deserved pat on the back goes out to all those involved.
