Information & Support Centre open evening
On Tuesday 6th
March 2012 the Macmillan Cancer
Information & Support Centre hosted
an evening for Cancer specialists working in Southport Hospital and
local GP Practices. The purpose of the evening was to explain to local
Cancer professionals how the centre compliments and supports their
work in the Southport area.
The
newly opened Southport Community
Service Station is situated in the
heart of the town and is a complete community based information service. The Community Service Station is there to support
independent living, for people affected by illness or infirmity.
