Ormskirk Street Pastors January 2012

The second week of the second year for the Street Pastors in the West Lancashire market and university town of Ormskirk.

The Ormskirk Street Pastors are a group of local Christians from many different local churches.

The Street Pastors are there to help the young local partygoers and students of the community, who, out and about the bars and nightclubs of the town centre, on a Friday night, might at some time some need non-judgmental help.

Help can take the form of a pair of flip flops, a bottle of water, someone who will listen, first aid, directions, or the gentle guidance away from trouble.

Street Pastors aim to live out their Christian faith by serving others in the community.

Catholics and Pentacostals, Anglican and Non-Conformist, all come together as "shephards to tend the flock"
